Neighbor Townsend's house still has major drifts in front. This drift is at our back door, and it is keeping the dogs guessing as where to go to the bathroom. I cleaned a small part for them, and they are much relieved.
Early this morning I shot the truck and the blowing snow. It is a lot deeper now, but the streets are still passable. The state closed I-40 (about two blocks north of us) from here to the state line. I expect the parking lot at Home Depot will be jammed with 18 wheelers. If it lightens up, I'll take a couple of gallons of coffee and see if I get any takers.
Youngest grandson, Peyton Sanders mounted up for his first horseback ride. Yep, he's riding bareback! This is his uncle's place in New Mexico. He is right at home on horses.
